SURFACE WATER OBSERVATIONS 10-31-12

Surface water survey
10-31-12
2-3pm
Air temp: 59°F, Light rain

Surface water conditions were observed southwest of Berm A, following the natural direction of the surface flow. Four locations were sampled looking for surface water. If water was present, a measurement of accumulation, flow observations, and a photo was taken to documenting conditions. Direction, distance and coordinates were gathered using a Garmin Oregon 550 with 25-30 foot accuracy with 8 connecting satellites.
South of berm A, starting at crest guage 7, plot 1 was located 120 feet southwest from this known point. Continuing on, plot 2 was located 100 feet southwest from the previous location. Plot three was only 50 feet southwest from plot two. Lastly, plot 4 was located at the covert where gator creek intersects with a foot path, 220 feet southwest from plot 3.
